Kathryn joined the Stellar Living team in April, overseeing Operational Management, Policy and Program Development.
Kathryn has a strong background in Community Housing with over 25 years working in social and affordable housing in a range of government and not-for-profit organisations. Kathryn is passionate about building capacity in the sector and partnering to achieve greater outcomes for people who need stable and affordable housing as a basic foundation on which people can rebuild their lives and reach their own potential.
Kathryn is excited to drive effective customer service that is focused on positive outcomes for tenants and is committed to Stellar Living’s values and vision.
Stellar Living Ltd has moved address
Stellar Living Ltd has moved address. We have moved from Binley Place in Maddington to our new offices on the ground floor at 1 Hadlow Place (cnr Connemara Drive) in Thornlie, 6108. The office is located off Connemara Drive in Thornlie, and is the first doorway of the building. Access is via intercom communication.
Our postal address has changed to Post Office Box 370 in Thornlie, Post Code is 6988. Our phone remains the same.
Purchase of 2 Butson Place, Redcliffe
Stellar Living is proud to announce its purchase of a 9 Apartment Complex (2 x 2) at 2 Butson Place Redcliffe on 30 June 2017. They are well located with close proximity to transport, shopping, medical, schools and other facilities. Since 2011 Stellar has added a further 53 properties to its original government provided (federal stimulus) portfolio of 132 properties. Stellar now holds a total of 247 properties located throughout the Perth metro area, Kalgoorlie and Mandurah. The Redcliffe apartments will be offered to those currently on the Western Australian Wait List.
Purchase of 1 Hadlow Place, Thornlie – 1 Hadlow Place, Thornlie
Stellar Living is proud to announce its purchase of 1 Hadlow Place, Thornlie. A 20 residential and 2 commercial apartment block. Over the past few months we had worked very closely with Mark Helwig of Icie Pty Ltd (developer) and St George Bank (funders) to get the project over the line. The purchase is directly adjacent to Thornlie Square (off Spencer Rd in Thornlie) with close proximity to schools, swimming pools, medical, transport, library and shopping and entertainment facilities. Stellar now manages over 240 community housing properties of which it owns 185. Many thanks to Stellar’s Board and staff who had worked closely together, to ensure the purchase was right for us and for the Housing Authority. Stellar has added 44 properties in the last 2 years, a massive effort from such a small organisation.
